| RAIN!! ...and BABY BIRD FLYING LESSONS!! We actually had RAIN here in LA this evening!! A big cloud moved down from the northwest...we heard a bit of thunder...and then the bottom dropped out and blessed us with a SIX-INCH (between drops) RAIN! It took all of about 10 seconds for that to evaporate back into the clouds and move on over to the next county. On another note, I saw another "bird story" today. I walked out of my office and saw, then heard a sparrow flitting around my office door. Then I saw a very small, feathered sparrow that could not fly well, or very far. The larger sparrow would fly over to the little bird, chirp a bit, then fly away. Little bird would fly about two or three feet, then return to it's perch. Larger, (Mama) bird would fly back...chirping all the time, then go again. Again little bird would try it's wings but not get very far...but he kept trying. They did that over and over...Mama bird teaching baby bird how to fly. Did she realize that when baby bird really gets the hang of it, she (Mama) may not see her baby again? Who needs a little love? | Report on Sister! Got a report on Marie's sister: Bleeding ulcer! They are apparently "getting on top of it". She is being moved to a private room (from Med. ICU) and apparently no major surgery is on the horizon...Love to all from OUR HOUSE,

| 84 degrees at Eleven pm Sunday night in Magnolia, AR ("LA") at 11:00 pm I had to take the trash out (trash man runs early on Monday morning) and the heat was stifling!! 84 degrees!! Love to all from OUR HOUSE,

| ...MEANWHILE...back in the Rest of the World It sure is quiet around here! Around the house and around Xanga. This must be "Tannenbaum Week". I wish I were there but you know, the rest of the world has to go on. There is work to do. There are bills to pay. So, even though no one is looking, the rest of us will just have to "suck it up" and go to work!!Love to all from OUR HOUSE,
